Guess what, last month I found my co-worker flaunting a new addition in his long list of chic gadgets, the iPhone. I wish I could own one. Anyway, not too many people in Canada are among the list of iPhone owners. Well, but my probing temperament pushed me further to test the trio of potential of this real dark horse in the battle (the iPhone).
I spent the entire evening scrutinizing the object and the underlying potentials it possesses (to my co-worker’s utter displeasure). Relatively much was not known about the object, especially how it can serve as a platform in the development perspective. I eventually got possessed with the idea of donating considerable time in the iPhone development. Luckily, a relative of mine was kind enough to bring the shiny toy home and find me more ways to play with it. A few days of intensive research exposed several new developments for the iPhone. I would love to share a few.
Believe it or not (not talking of Ripley’s), your wonder boy iPhone can enable you to get subway maps. With a simple text edit on your iPhone, you can explore your word processor. Mad about the high-tech games? For serious gamers, this object has some amazing offerings that can adequately feed your interest in the gaming world. Besides, for all bookworms running short of time to read those glossy papers, you can read magazines on your iPhone.
To round up, there are a few more points to add. Hold your breath! Your iPhone can actually act as a calculator; bring you a web-based to-do list, offer quotation and act as a sales tool for businessmen on the move, build a library for your media, download YouTube videos, help you listen to online music, search for popular places online, check weather updates, play Sudoku games, and many more. Gosh! The unending list left me overwhelmed.
Fortunately, as a developer in Canada, I have access to the emerging applications in the world today and this has further triggered my passion in the field of iPhone development. It has also allowed me to experiment on the new tool. So, all you techies out there pull up your socks and get set to explore the new wonder tool.
